Robert Douglas Skelley II

Robert (Rob) Douglas Skelley II On Sunday, July 4, 2021, Rob Skelley passed away while surrounded by loved ones at his home in Weaverville, NC. Rob was born on December 28, 1948, to a pioneering Riverside, CA family. He lived a life that took him around the world, from California to Vermont, Bermuda, and Peace Corps locations in Barbados and Saint Vincent Island. Rob took a great deal of pride in the education he received at the Cate School and Middlebury College. The skills he developed there would help kick-start a career that would eventually see him serve as Vice President and Chief Executive Officer at corporations across the U.S. and abroad. Rob had a wicked sense of humor and loved to talk to everyone he would meet. He was an avid scratch golfer and took pleasure in solo cross country motorcycling. While survived by his wife, Candi, and sons, Joe and Dave, Rob is currently spending time with his life's greatest companions: his dogs Bill, Ham, Champ, and Russell.
