Todd Beamer
Todd Beamer, a Glen Ellyn native who graduated in 1991 from Wheaton College, was a passenger on Flight 93 to San Francisco.

An account manager for Oracle Corp., Beamer was heading to a business meeting when his plane went down in rural Pennsylvania. His wife of seven years, Lisa, described Beamer, a business student at Wheaton, as a loving and athletic man.

Lisa Beamer said she hadn't been watching TV that morning and was unaware of what was going on until a friend called and asked if Todd was OK. She turned on the TV and saw the crashes, then tried to find out his itinerary. When news broke of the Pennsylvania crash, "my heart sank," she said, figuring that his flight would be in that general area by that time.

"Todd, he had a love of life," Lisa Beamer said of her husband, an avid Bulls and Cubs fan. And "he loved being with his family."

On that day, you did more than you'll ever know. Acting courageously, you and others took the plane back over were even seconds away saving the lives on the plane. You knew deep down that you would not see your wife and kids again, but you saved other lives in return. You are a national hero, with bravery I could only wish to have.

Todd, your story is truly amazing. You are not only brave, but a hero. I would like to say thank you for leading the passengers to defeat the terrorist. If it wasn't for you and the others another major building could've been destroyed, along with hundreds of lives with it. I wish the best to your wife and kids, they have a hero to look up to!

Today was another perfect weather day, and we enjoyed being outside. But, the thoughts of that day 18 years ago, and the sharing of everyones stories about what they were doing when the terrorists hit....well, its something NO ONE who was alive then will EVER FORGET.
Its sad, and painful, yet remarkable that our country did survive. We have the brave men and women who pushed into the cockpit of flight 93, to save our capitol, to thank for that! And the rescuers! And the President who followed to remove many of the horrible perpetrators from this earth.
As always, for Todd, I say a prayer, for his family and friends, that they will always know, HE is alive in our hearts, in our thoughts. May strength and good faith and LOVE ❤ always be with you.

Todd,
Miss you my brother. The Simpsons, many Floridians, and our fellow Americans were thinking of you during the hurricane Urma. As the eye of the storm passed, I realised how precious life is and how families unite during disasters. Our thoughts are with you and the many heros who lost their lives on 9/11 2001. May the lord continue to watch over you, your lovely wife, and kids.

Todd you continue to make a difference in the Simpsons and many other Americans lives. You made a difference in this God forshaken world. The Simpsons thought of you when the eye of hurricane Urma went over our home on 9/11 2017 and we all said "Let roll" and with a litte kindless from God, the Simpsons made it!! Blessings.

See you next year, much love to you Todd and apologies for the late entry, we had to clean up the mess Urma caused. We will be without power for weeks. No worries, we had the Lord watching out for us as he continues to do for you. "Let's Roll". Peace be with you, the Beamer family, Houston families, My fellow Floridians, and all americans. I so hope our Beamer has met Todd in Heaven and has given him a "paw high five." Two beautiful souls that have certainly taught our family about love and sacrifice. You are loved Tood Beamer and Beamer Copeland! We will never forget you, Todd and Beamer........until we see you again!
