Tom Rhea Phillips is one of those men that you try to pattern yourself after. I see J.T. called him a Southern Gentleman. Yes, he was that and a healer, and a motivator, and an example to all men whose lives he touched. Thank you Dr. Phillips for being someone we could all look up to.

Tom Rhea was unique in so many ways; I knew him well, his family, and his parents. He represented the best of the South: always a Southern Gentleman. He was a charter member of the ATO Chapter at Southern and supported it all his life. He will be missed by all those who knew him. He was always generous. My son Tom said of him, "just knowing Tom made me want to be a better person."
That sums up the life and many personal qualities of Tom Rhea. I wish I could have attented his funeral. I look forward to seeing the family in October. What a loss to his wondeful wife and children and all who knew him.
