Albert Keels Obituary

Albert Leland Keels passed away peacefully, on June 12, 2024 in Houston, Texas. He was born February 19, 1942 in Miami, Okla., to Albert Jackson Keels and Loretta Stubbs Keels. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Larry Dean Keels. He is survived by his brother Ronald and wife Linda of Manvel, his son David of Beeville and his daughter Davon Ruiz of Pearland. He was the loving grandfather to Josh, Zach, Dylan and Milan Ruiz of Pearland, Cody Spiers, Tyler and Caleb Keels of Beeville; and great-granddaughter, Allison Ruiz of Alvin.

He lived most of his life in the Alvin/Pearland area. He attended Alvin High School and worked for Texaco in the oilfield for 27 years. He was an active member of the OCAW Union and was the Secretary Treasurer of the Local for many years.

He had a deep faith in God and eternity. We are comforted that he has finally found peace and is now in the presence of God the Father.

Thank you, Dad for always being there for us even when it wasn't easy. You never once let us down. Your reassuring presence will be missed greatly, but you, our precious loving father, will live on in all of our hearts and minds forever.

Special thank you to Mosland at Divine Care for Seniors for all your support in his final days.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate our father's life at 3:00 p.m. on June 29, at The Church on Masters Road 6911 Masters Road, Manvel, Texas 77578
