Carolyn Hines Obituary

Carolyn M. Hines, age 81 of Friendswood, Texas, passed away Friday, November 29, 2024, at Chateaux Serenity Assisted Living in Conroe, Texas. Carolyn was born March 6, 1943, in San Diego, California, and had been a resident of Friendswood for 8 years, formerly of Pearland. She worked in the title insurance business and was the owner/operator of Texas Fidelity Title of Alvin and Pearland. Carolyn was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob) Hines; parents, James and Marybelle Sallee; sister, Patricia Presley.

Carolyn is survived by her daughters, Michelle Hines, Laurie Ford and husband Shannon; grandchildren, Michael Copeland and wife Savannah, Heather Hines, Reid Copeland and wife Jacqueline, Heath Ellerbe and wife Ashley; great-grandchildren, Lillian Ellerbe, Avery Ellerbe, Ryleigh Ellerbe, Layne Copeland, Davis Copeland, Magnolia Copeland and Summer Copeland; along with numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Scott Funeral Home with funeral services beginning at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Confederate Cemetery in Alvin.
