Dianne Anderson Obituary

Born on April 12, 1947, Dianne was the youngest daughter of the late Mildred Temple Anderson and Roy James Anderson, Jr. A devoted daughter and sister, she lovingly cared for her mother and her sister, Joan, for many years. In her earlier years, Dianne and Joan shared a passion for music and traveled together as part of a musical singing group. Dianne was a lifelong member of Cumberland United Methodist Church, holding firm in her faith in God from an early age. She graduated from Florence-Darlington Technical College in the 1980s with an associate's degree in Secretarial Science. Known for her intelligence, diligence, and compassionate spirit, Dianne served faithfully in several roles throughout her life, including nearly 20 years with the George J. Nofal family, as well as positions at Florence-Darlington Technical College and McLeod Regional Medical Center until her retirement. She was also an enthusiastic sports fan who enjoyed following her favorite teams. In addition to her parents and sister, Dianne was preceded in death by several loved ones. She leaves to cherish her memory: cousins Curtis Cato, Ella Mae Cato Cain, Earvin Stanley Hamilton, and Dr. Valerie Jarvis McMillian; special friends Yolanda Brock and Dr. Diane Davis; and a host of other relatives and dear friends. Dianne will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew her. Complete obituary will be forthcoming. Arrangements are entrusted to: Ideal Funeral Parlor, Inc. 106 E.
