Marvin - you were my neighbor and we were like brothers for my entire childhood in North Pekin. I have so many grand memories of you and me from 5 years old through our teens and 20s. You personally introduced me to successful people in the music industry like the great Jerry Milam and Gary Richrath, and booked our band to open for Head East, and Cheap Trick. You and I headed off to Ft. Lauderdale for Spring Break in style in your new red Firebird in the 70's. We felt like we were kings back then. When I moved to Florida we lost contact for some decades. I realize I should have come back to visit and replay some of the many great times we had in our life. I regret losing that opportunity. Tonight I just happened to pick up my 1968 Pekin High yearbook and looked us up. Then I went on facebook and saw you were in the hospital and found you in Google. I was very sad to see that you had gone. You were a good guy Marvin. I will keep those memories alive as long as I am here and I will miss you just the same my pal. God bless you and your family.

I taught Marvin Guitar when he was young, and appreciated how well he played and loved the instrument. He certainly will be missed. He was a first class person and friend, as is his entire family.
