Dennis Lusk Obituary
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, at the American Legion Post 20 in Kenai. It will be potluck.
Dennis was born June 9, 1946 in Tehachapi, Calif. Dennis and his brother, Willard had a lot of fun growing up and they both had a lot of 'fun' mischief. One example was they took a box of bees to a movie theater and let them loose causing panic and it led to them getting kicked out. He also scared his sister, Alma Hansen with a harmonica
He married Mary Osterhaus in 1965 and they had one son, Daniel Wesley Lusk.
Sister-in-law Liz Cook first met him as Donald L. Looker. Gladys Poole like his log cabin that Roberta Pearcy helped him build by holding a log in place for him. Lila Green liked the four-foot door going into the cabin.
Dennis is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary Eya Lusk; son, Daniel Wesley Lusk; brother, Willard Lusk; along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Barney and Marie Lusk and his sister, Deanna Lusk.
Arrangements were by Peninsula Memorial Chapel in Kenai.
