Joyce Fischer Obituary
A devoted wife to her late husband, Paul A. Fischer, Joyce embraced every moment of their life together, joining him in countless adventures that became cherished family stories. Together, they raised eleven children - a large and loving family that was her greatest joy. Joyce served her community as a longtime member of the Kenai Peninsula Borough school board helping to shape the education of countless children.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Paul, daughter Patricia, and son Paul Jr. She is survived by her nine children Michael, Steven, David, Ann, Mary, Karen, Thomas, Christopher, Matthew and her brother Robert Rothwell.
Joyce's funeral mass will be held on Friday, Nov. 7th at Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Church, in Soldotna, Ak at 2:00pm. Burial at Spruce Grove Memorial Park in Kasilof will follow the mass with a reception to follow at the Fischer's home at mile 55430 Sterling Highway, from 4-6. All are welcome to join us in sharing our memories of this loving woman who will be greatly missed.
