Rachel Jurco Obituary
In December 1955 she married A/1C Joseph M. Jurco at Loring Air Force Base, Maine. During their military career they were also stationed at Chanute AFB, IL, Lockbourne AFB, OH, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH, Clark AB, Philippines, Shaw AFB, SC and Elmendorf AFB, AK. They were married for 52 yrs. and 51 weeks when Joe passed away in December 2008. Rachel is survived by her 5 children, David, Timothy (Julie) and Jonathan (Sue) Jurco, Elizabeth Jurco and Rebecca (Mike) Marquardt. Also 4 grandchildren, TJ Jurco (Laura), Joey Jurco, Ashley Jurco and Joshua Partridge.
Services will be held 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at Star of the North Lutheran Church, 216 N. Forest Drive, Kenai, AK. A viewing will be held from 12:00 to 12:30 a.m. She will be interred at Fort Richardson National Cemetery on Friday June 18, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. where her husband is buried. Memorial donations may be sent to Star of the North Lutheran Church in her memory.
