Robert Coltin Carroll

My son, Robert Coltin Carroll died of suicide on October 12th, 2025. He had suffered as long as he could with his mental illness and fought the good fight for over 15 years. He just had his 35th birthday and it just became too much of a burden to wake up to every day. Coltin was the kindest soul I ever knew and never wanted to hurt anyone or anything.  He was a joy to call my son, and I am incredibly proud of him and how strong and selfless he was. 
 
He had an incredible sense of humor and the Irish gift of gab. He loved going to our cabin at Trapper Creek, snowmachining , hot tubbing under the stars, taking care of his rabbits and sitting at the fire pit in the back yard. He enjoyed all kinds of music and even tolerated his dad's old classics. Coltin knew he'd never get better and only get worse as he got older. We all loved you Coltin, and we will try to carry on without the joy you brought into our lives. 
 
He is survived by his father Kevin Carroll, stepmother Sherly Carroll, brother Keenan Carroll, stepbrother Herald Ochea, uncle Buck Carroll and wife Theresa, aunt Rosemary, cousin/brother Liam Andrus. 
 
Preceded in death by his mother Audrey Carroll, grandmother, Jean, O'Dea Carroll, uncle Robbie Carroll, Uncle Sean Carroll.
