Dennis James Ingram

1938 - 2023

Dennis James Rudolph was born on January 22, 1938 and was the son of Carl and Marie Rudolph. His mother, Marie, later married Frank Ingram and Dennis legally changed his name to Ingram around the time he entered the Navy somewhere around 1956/57.

Some believe he was born with a fishing rod in his hand as his love of fishing lasted his entire lifetime.

After retiring from the Port of Port Angeles, he became a fishing guide, sharing his love and expertise of fishing with passionate anglers worldwide.

Dennis also had a passion for hiking throughout the Olympic Mountains and National Parks. He loved deer and elk hunting around many areas of the Pacific Northwest. Other loves included painting, photography, cooking, fly tying, and golfing. Just a few months before his passing in October of 2023, he shot his age on the golf course; a score of 85 at Peninsula Golf Club. It had been mentioned that he may have been the longest living member of the Peninsula Golf Club at the time.

He discreetly donated to multiple charities that were near and dear to his heart and was very proud of the savings programs that he was able to get started for his 3 great grandchildren as they entered the world.

Dennis had stories upon stories of a life incredibly well lived and said many times before his passing how grateful he was for a life lived without any regrets. He always had a smile on his face and had the ability to brighten even the darkest moments with a well-timed joke or a clever remark.

He is survived by his partner, Alice Lindgren, son, Curt Ingram, daughter, Tena Stephenson, stepdaughters, Robin Boerner, Roberta Servis, Darlene Bjornson, grandchildren, Dustin, Curtis, and Conner Haggerty, Taleah Burr, Taylor Ingram, Megan Cantrell, Beth Bueno, great grandchildren, Ripley and Asylda Haggerty, Callie Burr, Alexander Bueno, and Kora Cantrell.

Dennis passed away peacefully, Thursday, December 7th just before 11 a.m.

He had many friends from many places and will truly be missed by all.
