Esther Lenora Ellefson

1920 - 2021

Esther Lenora Ellefson née Moll passed away on June 11, 2021, at Crestwood Convalescent Center in Port Angeles of natural causes. She was born in Humboldt, MN to Edward and Mabel (Johnson) Moll on August 3, 1920.

Esther married Roy on June 7, 1941 in Barnesville, Minnesota. She dedicated her life to raising their five children. In July, 1955 the family moved to Port Angeles, Wa. Esther worked a full career at Swain's General Store in Port Angeles. After retirement Esther and Roy spent the next 30 winters enjoying Mesa, AZ. They enjoyed spending time with their grandchildren and great grandchildren attending athletic events, camping, school programs, and family birthdays and holidays.

Esther was predeceased by her husband of 78 years, Roy, parents and sister, Edwina (Moll) Frame. She is survived by her 5 children Gary (Julie), Carol (Randy), David (Sally), Dean (Reath), and Roger (Deanna). Esther's grandchildren are Katie Jo (Tim), Eric (Emily), Katie Jean (David), Andy, Kristi (Mike), Lori (Kyle), Scott (Melissa), and Whitney (Matt). She has 16 great grandchildren-Amelia, Annabel, Archer, Callie, Colby, Craig, Easton, Ella, Emelia, Everly, Jack, Julieanne, Luke, Michael, Nola, and Zach. There is extended family living in Minnesota and North Dakota.

A family service, date to be determined, will be held at Mt. Angeles Memorial Park.
