Frederick Vaughn "Skip" Webb

Frederick Vaughn "Skip" Webb of Port Angeles, Washington, passed away on October 13, 2025, at Sequim Bay Post Acute. He was 82.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Harper-Ridgeview Funeral Home, located at 105 W. 4th Street in Port Angeles.
Skip was born March 13, 1943, in Merced, California, to Frederick and Grace (Vaughn) Stringer. Skip lived most of his early life in Fresno, California and graduated from Fresno State University with a master's degree in classical music composition. While pursuing his studies, he composed a symphony and other classical works.
Later, Skip went on to teach band at the elementary school level as well as worked many years with Tower Records as their point person for their classical music sections. Prior to coming to Washington State, he worked with Delos Records as their sales representative.
In 2002, he purchased his home in Port Angeles and moved there with his mother, Grace 'Peggy." Skip's love of music and movies enabled him to create a circle of like-minded friends. Thereby creating "The Theater Group," a group which existed right up to the time of his passing, meeting every Friday for films and camaraderie.
Skip will surely be missed by his friends and family for his love of laughter, humor and his passion for rescuing dogs. He lived a full and rewarding life and brought love and humanity to all those whose life he touched.
He is survived by sisters Linda O'Conner and Deborah Lunaro; nephew, Scott Stringer and niece Amanda Corcoran. He was preceded in death by both parents; step-father Dwight Webb and brother John Stringer.
