Jared James Obituary

Jared William James
Jared William James, age 40, passed away peacefully on August 30th at his home in Sequim.
Jared was born in Shelton to Harry and Brooke James, grandson of Harry Sr. and Pat James, as well as Bill and Marilyn Johnson, and grew up with his older siblings, Chris and Paige, and his younger brother and best friend, Bryce James. During childhood, he moved with his parents and Bryce to Sequim, where he graduated from Sequim High School in 2004.
Jared was a gentle giant with a heart of gold. He loved the outdoors, whether hunting, fishing, or tending to the beautiful landscape at home. He was known for his calm, steady presence, his warm sense of humor, and his kind generosity. Children in the family especially adored Jared, whom they affectionately called a big teddy bear. His love for family was evident in every part of his life.
Jared is survived by his parents, Harry and Brooke James; his brothers, Chris and Bryce; his sister Paige; his nephews, Jonathan and Austin; his niece, Jessica; his great-nephews, Brecken and Caden; and his great-nieces, Londynn and Teagan.
Though gone too soon, his legacy will live on forever in the hearts of his family and friends.
Any or all donations will be given to Mt. Olive daycare/preschool directed by Margarete Dohring.
His Memorial Service is November 8 at 1pm at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church at 206 Wyandotte Ave, Shelton, WA 98584
