Thomas F. Dillon

1947 - 2021

Thomas F. Dillon left us peacefully in his sleep on May 11, 2021, in the city of Pacific, WA, from the complications of Alzheimer's while being cared for in an adult family care home.

Tom was born in San Francisco, CA on September 13th 1947, to Lillian V. and James J. Dillon. Tom attended St. Anne's Grammar School and graduated from Lincoln High School in January 1966, where he excelled at football, qualifying for the "All City High School Football" team.

After high school, Tom enlisted into the USMC Reserves, with his local reserve duty station at the Alameda Naval Air Station for 6 years. Tom was employed by the P. G. & E. for 10 years in the steam and gas departments and resided in Pacifica with his best friend dog, Nick.

In November of 1976, Tom moved on to become a deputy sheriff for the City and County of San Francisco. After 13 years as a Deputy Sheriff, he again moved on to be hired by the San Francisco Police Department and was stationed at the San Francisco Airport until Tom retired on November 29th, 1995. In the month of August 2003,Tom and his brother Gerry, also residing in Pacific, bought a home together on the Duckabush River in Brinnon, WA, and moved there along with his best friend dog, Nick.

Tom is survived by his brother Terry and wife Lisa, brother Jim (JT) and wife Pat, brother Gerry and nephew Tim Dillon, his cousin Marian Wulftange (San Jose, CA), his cousin George Graham (Pinehurst, NC), his brother Jim's extended family of Matt and family, Jay Dillon, and Katie Rapozo and family.

A family celebration of life will occur at a later time.
