Vincent Doebbler Obituary
Vincent was born in Seattle, Washington, to Ronald E. Doebbler and Lorraine Lucille Charles Doebbler on June 3, 1957.
Vincent worked with the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Forest Service for 25 years in fires/fuels and at the front desk. He was also the grounds supervisor for the Lower Elwha Tribe from 2005 until 2017.
Vincent was involved with the community as a coach for the kids bowling league at Laurel Lanes, Port Angeles Lanes and Sunset Lanes in Forks, and as a volleyball referee. He also volunteered at Hurricane Ridge, helping maintain the tube run, and he loved cross-country skiing.
His other love was his Bug Club. As a member of the Strait Air Volksgruppe, he was very enthusiastic about the four VWs he had: three Beetles and one fastback.
Vincent is survived by his father, Ronald Doebbler of Port Angeles, and his sisters, Pamela Johnson of Port Angeles and Stephanie (Roy Black III) Doebbler of La Push.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lorraine L. Doebbler; his brother; Kevin Doebbler; his nephew, Kristopher K. Doebbler, and great-nephew, Ashton J.R. Johnson; and his beloved cat, Dottie.
There will be a celebration of life for Vincent on Sunday, August 20, 2017, at 11 a.m. at 2851 Lower Elwha Road.

I can not fully express how much we will miss Vince. It is difficult to write through the tears. I have lost a "brother" and my husband has lost a "cousin". We shared a common love of VWs. Vince was the most caring, loving, and smart person I knew (besides my husband). When he came over for dinner, we'd talk for hours about his work, his love of flora, his VWs. He was so smart! And artistic! We will miss him sooooo much. And Jeffy will miss him, too.

Vince was such a loving , giving brother. He helped so many friends and family.
Thanks to all his friends for being there for him,throughout the years . Also thanks to you all for being there for our family during our time of loss.

Vinnie and I have been friends since 1980. He was always the most kind and encouraging person I know. His enthusiasm for his bugs, his art, his friends and his family knew no bounds. I will always treasure those special art pieces he sent over the years as well as some funny gifts such as the giant forks and spoons!!! Special with my name on them. I will always love him and will miss his optimistic attitude and kind and loving heart for the rest of my days.
