Donna L. (Saurman) Stoner, 86, of Lewisberry, PA, passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side on July 15th, 2021. She was the daughter of Harry F. Saurman and Elsie I. (Arnold) Saurman. She was married for 61 years to her husband Edgar A. ("Cy") Stoner. Donna is survived by her husband, her daughters, Susan Matosin (husband Samuel) and Jennifer Kauffman (husband Charlie), a brother, Linton Saurman (wife Bev), sister-in-law, Pat Saurman, grandchildren, Justin Fisher and Courtney Fisher, a great grandchild, Eden, multiple nieces and nephews, and several sister-in-laws on her husband's side of the family, all of whom enjoyed her company. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sons, Anthony A. and Mark A. Stoner, and a brother, Franz Saurman. Donna worked for the Commonwealth of PA, Department of Revenue as a Personnel Clerk where she retired with 23 years of service. She enjoyed her dogs, Buddy 1 and Buddy 2. Donna and her husband would travel to the "farm" and enjoy wildlife and birds. Her knowledge of Birds and Flowers was tremendous. She made numerous friends throughout her life. Family and friends valued her because she was a kind and thoughtful person. She loved to travel, play pinochle with her card club friends, shop til' she dropped, and listening to jazz, Def Leppard, The Eagles, Pink Floyd and many other music groups. Donna was a very proud lifetime member of the Halifax PA area Historical Society. Because she lived there until her family moved to Harrisburg, when she was 9 years old. The family would like to thank the staff on floors 4 and 8 at the Holy Spirit Hospital for their dedication and support their mom. A visitation will be held Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 10:00 AM with a service to follow at 11:00 AM at Musselman Funeral Home.
