Norman L. Harman, 90, of Jonestown, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021. Born September 18, 1931 in Linglestown, he was a son of the late Arthur P. and Sadie C. (Hoerner) Harman and widower since July 2019 of Ruby M. (Hower) Harman after 54 years of marriage. He was also preceded in death by daughters Lynette Harman and Jean Schneck and siblings William Harman, Earl Harman, Paul Harman, Grace Green, Lester Harman, Marlin Harman, and Sarah Harman. Retired from Home Depot, Lebanon, he was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Lickdale and the West Hanover Fire Company. Norman served in the U.S. Air Force and was an avid outdoorsman. Surviving are his son Scott, husband of Beverly Harman; daughter Carol, wife of Kevin Harner; four grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, December 9, 2021 at his church, 98 Fisher Avenue, Jonestown preceded by a viewing from 2:00 PM. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery, Swatara Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 98 Fisher Avenue, Jonestown, PA 17038.
