BOBBY JEAN CLARK
"B.J. CLARK"
1930- 2008
Born on December 6, 1930 to Guy D. and Stella Duncan Clark, in Tunica, LA, he was raised in Advance, MO. For 30 years, he proudly served in the U. S. Navy in OSC - Radar. His favorite tour of duty was in submarines. He then worked for 10 years in the Escambia City jail system. For many years, B. J. enjoyed working with Boy Scouts; loved fishing and always tried to "catch that big one."
Preceded in death are his parents and a brother, Benny Clark.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 53 years, Barbara Clark; three children, Robert Jeffrey Clark (wife Laura), of Manitou Springs, CO, Susan Marie Brodowski (husband John) of Pensacola and Steven Tracy Clark (wife Rebecca) of the Czech Republic and one grandson, Bobby; sister Barbara Musgraves (husband Darrell) of Mineola, TX; sister-in-law Shirley Clark of Colusa, CA; many good friends and neighbors.
The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home until services begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment, with full military honors, will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery, NAS Pensacola.
Active pallbearers and honor guard will be the Escambia County Road Prison Officers.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice, 2001 N Palafox Street, Pensacola, FL 32501 in memory of Bobby Jean Clark.
The Covenant Hospice nurses and all who helped us are truly "angels." Thank you - the Clark Family.
Arrangements are by Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
