To the Boylan Family,

As a former Graduate of Gulf Breeze High School, I too, had the wonderful experience of knowning Scott, Jill and Mike. I will always remember Scotts smile and outgoing spirit. My mother worked in the guidance department, so I would often run into Scott there, because truth be told, he was one of my mom's favorite aids. Scott will be missed tremendously, but never forgotton. Our thoughts and prayers are with you now and always.

Lori,
I know it has been along time, but you, Scott and the kids have never been far from my mind. I still look at the pictures of Brooke and Cody from when they were just babies. You and Scott were such a big part of mine and Todds life. To imagine we would meet such wonderful people in Lamaze class and them be such a big part of our lives for many years. I am so sorry to hear about Scott. I just wanted you to know you and the kids are in my thoughts and prayers. Love always, Dona

Dear Boyland Family,

You are very special to my family; Scott's father and my father were good friends for many years. Now, I have Tyler as a student, and I feel blessed. He brings so much sunshine to my life.

There is nothing I can do or say to ease your pain. Please know, however, I am here. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Much love to you.

How saddened I was to hear of Scott's passing. The memories of growing up together in Villa Venyce really brought back so many things. He always had that big smile that was so infectious!! All the times fishing and going out in the boats. We had so much fun. Lori, I know you are deeply saddened, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and the children. Gail, Mike, and Jill, I know this is such a tragedy for the sudden loss of Scott. I know what you are going through and offer my sympathy and prayers. I was deeply saddened when I heard this tragic news. I went to school with Scott, and he was my buddy in many classes. It's so hard to make sense of everything when something like this happens. I know it must be very comforting to all of his friends and family to know how many lives he touched, and how many others will always remember Scott for his smile, crazy sense of humor, and kind heart. Please accept my deepest condolences, and know that he was a special man that many will miss.

Lori and Gail, Our thoughts and prayers are with you all in this horrible time. I've been thinking about you all a lot these past few days. I know there is nothing I can say or do to take the pain away. I will be praying for you all.

Scott will forever remain a special friend in my heart. The past few days have brought back so many memories of him, and times we had together through the years. I had the pleasure of developing a huge crush on him back in middle school- this developed into a lasting friendship. Scott was the reason I attended my 10 year GBH reunion- he absolutely insisted that I go with him by my side- and we had such a memorable evening with all of our 1979 GBH schoolmates!

Scott and I went through both of our Fathers' illnesses during the same time-frame. Cdr. Boylan passed away only a week before my Dad, and still Scott was there to give me a wonderful, supportive hug during my Dad's visitation. This meant the world to me and I will never, ever forget it.

Scott loved life, and adored his sister, brother, parents, and his own young family. I know I will continue to remember other times and memories not thought of in years- and I will smile through my tears. I will always miss Scott.

My thoughts and support go to the entire Boylan Family.

The years were too few, but Scott's love & friendship was great! I will miss him at our Class Reunion next year. He was a great friend. I'm so saddened to hear of his death. My prayer is that the family will be surrounded by God's comforting love and filled with peace that only He can give.

Over the past few days, my mind has been filled with memories of childhood. Memories of our little Villa Veneyce group playing in the canals and the woods, an innocent time. Scott was a big part of those days. I cannot begin to imagine your pain, but know that there are many of us who are holding you close in our thoughts and prayers.
