I was sad to learn of Chuck's passing. I have known him for years and worked with him at UWF in the 1980's. His drive, and watching him grow inspired me to begin college and earn my BS degree. I regret never telling him that. My sympathies to the family of Chuck Buckley, I know that your loss is a tremendous one.

Debra,
It's hard to know what to say at this sad time because your loss is so great. But even though no words can truly comfort you, perhaps they can, in some small way express the depth of care and concern that's felt for you now. Our throughts are with you.

Chuck is a great guy. I knew him in his class. He's a great teacher in every way, kindness and knowledgeable. He's a great listener with good advice. We became good friends for four years. He recently made beautiful floor for me. Everytime I and my husband see the floor, we think about him. Rest in peace, Chuck. You will be in my memory, forever..

We haven't known Chuck for very long but it seems like we have known him for years. We met Chuck when he came and did our bamboo flooring throughout our entire house. My 3 children really enjoyed having him here and I think he really enjoyed seeing their minds growing. They asked Chuck a bunch of questions and he always answered them in a fun way. I spoke to Chuck a lot while he was here and I found him to be a man full of wisdom, curiosity, and pride for his work. We are really saddened by his death and we offer our deepest sympathies to his family and friends.

Chuck was a man of few words, but the people who worked with him learned so much from him. He was an inspiration in his field, and helped so many. He will be missed.
