Charles Moore Obituary
Charles W. Moore, 89, of Pensacola died peacefully at home on Saturday, July 15, 2017, just days short of his 90th birthday. He is now reunited with his bride of 49 years, Elfriede. Charles was born in Marshall, Missouri on July 19, 1927. He had been a resident of Pensacola since 1956. He was a charter member of the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection. Charles was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Survivors include sons Charles Michael Moore (Beth) of Brooksville, FL; Stephen Mark Moore (Sandi) of Pensacola, FL; daughter Lisa Moore Payne (David) of Pensacola, FL; four grandchildren, Stephen Michael Moore (Christine) of Pensacola, FL; Charles Matthew Moore of Brandon, FL; Shannon Michelle Williams of New Orleans, LA; Marissa Erin Moore of Orlando, FL; brother in law John Hoerath of Rowlett, TX; two nieces, Stacy O'Riley (Dennis) of Rowlett, TX; Carla Davis of Little Rock, AR; and three great grandchildren: Faith, Hope, and Owen. Memorial service will be at 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, Pensacola, FL. Burial will be at Pensacola Memorial Gardens at a later date. The family is especially grateful for loving granddaughter Christine Moore's exceptional love and care in the final days. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection.

So sorry to hear of Mr Moore's passing. He was such a big help when we lived across the street from him on Emory. Always looking out for us and, in turn, we tried to return the favor by delivering him dinner when we cooked out, and (when he wasnt doing it himself) mowing his yard. He was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed!!
