Deanna Evone Stevison, 31 passed away on June 8, 2017. Deanna became an angel in Heaven way too soon.
She was a wonderful mother, daughter, granddaughter and sister. Deanna was full of life and absolutely loved being with family and friends. She attended Escambia High School, but obtained her High School Diploma at Smart Horizons Career Online School.
Deanna worked in the food service for many years, but on June 17, 2013 she became a correctional officer for the Blackwater River Correctional Facility.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Desmond E. Black; step-dad, Paul L. Wilson; great-grandfather, Ulysses Scott Grant; great-grandmother, Annie Ruth Grant and aunt, Betty Jean Perkins. She leaves behind her wonderful son, Skyler Paul Madai; mother, Sheila R. Wilson; father, Johnny Benton Stevison; Nan-Na, Carolyn R. Black; twin sister, Savanna R. Stevison; sister, Morgan C. Wilson; brother, Ryan S. Stevison; niece, Brooklyn Stevison; step-mother, Patty Stevison and many aunts, uncles, cousins and very special friends.
Pallbearers will be CO Mark V. Lower, CO Joseph T. Remich, CO Christian A. Rubio, CO Richard Carrion, Jr., CO Jonathan R. Griner and CO Scott S. Henderson.
The family will receive friends at PENSACOLA MEMORIAL GARDENS FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 from 1-2 with services to follow at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Skyler Madai for Trust Account c/o Central Credit Union.
The family has entrusted Pensacola Memorial Gardens with her care.

I remember walking up to Samantha at work and saying Deanna I love your haircut and Samantha just looked at me and said I´m not Deanna I´m her twin and I just walked away saying yeah okay if you say so. lol. I saw them standing together and slapped my forhead. Deanna just laughed at me. I miss those times and her always sharing pictures of her son. R.I.P. Deanna. You are missed and loved.

I have had the pleasure to meet Dianas mother and twin sister.. both have touched my heart in the very short moments we have met. I hope to see them soon and continue our relationship. I pray for them and think of them often.

To Deanna's friend and most importantly her family. I was very saddened and heart broken to hear of Deanna's death. I worked with her and it was a great pleasure to know her. She spoke so often of her loving family and never did a day go by that she failed to mention her awesome son Skylar with pride and so much love. I did not know Deanna personally, only through talking to her friend, my daughter Kayla O'Connell's girlfriend April Perkins. I have found that your heart can truly ache even though you may not have ever met someone personally. I just want the family to know that many of us out there who do not know your family feel sorrow and pain for what you are going through. May God give you the strength to find comfort in each other. I'm so very sorry for your loss.
