Jordan
1955-2017
Edward R. Jordan, 62, of Milton, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Ed was born in Milton, Florida, on August 31, 1955. He graduated from the University of West Florida with a Masters Degree, and taught in Santa Rosa County for 35 years.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Kathy Parker Jordan; a son Jacob (Heather); daughter, Jada (BJ Southers); three grandsons; his parents, Buddy and Carole Jordan; siblings Carl (Donna), Brian (Missy), and Tracey (Danny Worrell); his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ann and Ray Callaway; along with several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of Milton from 6:00-8:00pm Friday, December 15th. Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church, Saturday, December 16, 2017, at 11:00 am with Dr. Jonathan Russell and Dr. David Spencer officiating. Burial will follow at Serenity Gardens with Lewis Funeral Home directing.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Emerald Coast Hospice for the love and care given to their loved one during his illness along with Dr.'s Tarek Eldawy and Gerald Lowery of Sacred Heart Cancer Institute.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Men's Ministry or Construction Ministry of First Baptist Church of Milton, 6797 Caroline St., FL 32570.

Kathy, I am soo sorry to hear of Eddie passing ! You and the family lean on God and let Him carry you as only He can do ! We rejoice in the fact ... though with heavy hearts .. that he no longer suffers and is smiling as he looks upon the face of Jesus !! I am proud to call Eddie my cousin !! He was an awesome man !! He will be greatly missed !! I love you all and am keeping you all in prayer !!
