Gary William French

1946-2013

Gary W. French, 66, of Pensacola passed away April 10, 2013. He was born June 9, 1946 in the hills of Strawberry Plains, TN. He was a Navy man and throughout his various careers he was able to travel the world. He graduated college with high honors and received many awards and accolades throughout his life.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Ada French and his brother, Troy "T.A." French.

Left to cherish his memory are his fiancée, Peggy Harralson; daughters, Kelly French and Rene Braden; extended family, Paul Harralson (Jean), Jill Snider (Wes), Jenna Marvulli (Thomas); his grandchildren; sister-in-law, Paulette French; nieces, Melissa Cline, Karen Satterlee (Brian); nephew, Kevin French (Tammy); and cousin, Becky Brewer.

Gary was proud of his Tennessee heritage and the family gatherings that he held so dear to his heart.

Visitation will take place from 11-12:00pm Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Pensacola Memorial Garden Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 12:00pm.

To the world greatest dad .that anyone could ask for. Me and Kelly were very blessed to have you in our life. We love you and will never forget the life you shared with us. Daddy wait for me I will be there with you one day. Daddy your memory will last forever. I will never forget you. You were a dad, granddad to 5 grandkids. Crystal, Carrie, Ronnie, Johnny, Tabby. And a great granddad to 10 great grandkids. LaShay, Haley, Courtney, Ericka, Lacey, Abby, Holly, Molly, little Ronnie and yes its a girl also. Jeremiah the only great grandson. Daddy I love you.
