James Padgett Obituary
1960-2014
James Edwin Padgett, 54, died November 24, 2014 at his home. James was born on May 28, 1960 in San Diego, California to Jack Padgett Sr. and Barbara Louise Taylor Padgett. He was the 2nd of 5 children.
James entered into the Military where he served from September 26, 1983 thru August 7, 1988. He immediately reenlisted on Aug 8, 1988 thru February 22, 1996. He obtained his AC & R Ops Maintenance in October 1988. While in the Military he served as a Steam Propulsion Maintenance Supervisor for 11 years, 10 months & Refrigeration and Air Conditioning System Technician for 7 years, 4 months. He also received (4) Sea Service Deployment Ribbons, Navy Expeditionary Medal, Navy Achievement Medal, 1st Good Conduct Award November 11, 1984 thru his 4th Good Conduct Award ending November 10, 1995, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal, and Kuwait Liberation Medal. James was also a Desert Storm Veteran. James was an active Lifetime Member with the VFW and Fleet Reserve of Milton, FL.
James is preceded in death by his Father, Jack, Sr. Survived by his Mother, Barbara, 4 siblings: Jack(Cyndi), Donnis, Joan, and Robert(Cecilia), 3 children: Joleen, James, & Kendra, and his fur babies who will miss him greatly: Spooky & Scarlet(Scar Scar), 5 grandchildren, 13 Niece's & Nephews, and 15 Great Niece's & Nephews.
His viewing will be held Monday, December 1st from 5-7pm at the National Cremation & Burial Society in Pea Ridge, FL.
His funeral will be held Tuesday, December 2nd at 12:00pm at the National Cremation & Burial Society in Pea Ridge, FL, followed by the burial at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL at 2 PM.
Pallbearers: Jack Jr., Robert, Byron, Trenden, Casyn, and Perry.
Honorary Pallbearers: Jimmy's Fleet Brothers & VFW Brothers.
National Cremation & Burial Society of Milton has been entrusted with the arrangements.

I was sad to hear of his passing today. I didn't know him that long, and it's been yrs since I saw him.But I remember all the good times all of us had out Dan cing And the big old smile that Jimmy always had. Bless all your family.Just remember there's another Angel in heaven watching over you.God Bless you..I'll never forget my friend Jimmy..
