Michael Dugas Obituary
His wife, Cynthia Dugas; father, Henry Dugas Jr.; brother, Gary Dugas; grandparents, Thomasile and Inez Landry, and Henry and Anna Dugas Sr.; and step-father, Sydney Ordoyne; preceded him in death.
Survivors include his two sons, Michael L. Dugas Jr., and Joseph Dugas; mother, Shirley Ordoyne; brother, Robert Dugas (Kathy); God-child, Felicia Settle; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2007 in the Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home with the Reverend Larry White officiating.
Burial will follow in Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens.
EASTERN GATE MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

MIKE JR. AND JOSEPH God will guide you through these times of sorrow,may you both always be bonded by by the love your parents had for each other. When are Grand baby comes for a visit he always say's lets see duggie..We will always remind him, Mike is with Cindy in Gods kingdom, but he will still want to ride the lawn mower down there...all our love and Prayers

There is a time to every purpose under Heaven, a time to laugh a time to grieve. Mike gave everyone who knew him many times to laugh. And now my prayers go out to all who grieve. It was a blessing to have had him in our lives.

I have known you guys for so many years. We have been through so much together. We have had a lot of happy times togther. Camping, fishing, swimming, Mike's favorite I think was sitting around the bond fire being a fire bug. Cindy and Mike were very much part of my family's life. They were my youngest daughters God-Parents. When my husband and I renewed our wedding vows they were the maid of honor and Best Man. My whole family is saddened for the family at this time in their lives, I wish them peace of mind knowing that Mike is now with Cindy where they have always wanted to be... Together Again!!! Michael was such an honest, good person. What you saw in him was who he was. The world is a little sadder without both him and Cindy in it. Even though people come & go, both of them never forgot the ones they cared about. Mikey & Joseph, I know it's hard right now with out your Mom & Dad. Just don't forget how very much they loved you & each other. We should all be so lucky to be loved like that. Take care of yourselves & each other.

What A Shock to hear about Mike.I got to visit with him when Cindy passed away not knowing this would be Our Last time together.
I Will forever treasure the times I spent with both Mike & Cindy.He was Fun to be around & had A Huge Heart.If he liked you he embraced you with All his Heart.
He was A Great Husband & Father.Michael , Joseph & Aunt Shirley you are in My Prayers.

Mr. Mike and Mrs. Cindy has touched my life in ways I can't begin to explain. They were like my mom and dad, someone I could go to no matter what the situation was. I have been a neighbor of theirs for about 16 years. I grew up with the boys. Mike and Joey you are in my thoughts and prayers, and I will be here if you ever and I mean ever need anything. Just ride on down! I know Mr. Mike is once again happy to see his loving wife he missed so dearly. Mr. Mike and Mrs. Cindy you will never be forgotten, I will think of you two everyday. Miss you guys!!!! But I know your watching over all of us.

We send our prayers to the Dugas family and all those who knew Mike. Mike and Cindy were the kind of people who you knew would be a good friend. They were always there to help you, always there to have a good time and always knew how to make you smile, they were just good hearted people. It was so hard to hear of Mikes' passing, we could not beleive what we were hearing, but he is gone now and is with his loving wife Cindy and so many family and friends that went before him. May God bless Michael JR. and Joseph and all the family and friends that were so much part of Michaels' life. Rest in Peace we will miss you Mike.
