1945-2014
Patricia Clare Zelius, 69, of Pensacola, FL died Friday, October 10, 2014. She was born in Pensacola and attended Pensacola High School. She lived on the beach for many years and enjoyed crafting and sharing her sense of humor with her family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her father, John David Carter and mother, Constance Edwina Daniels Carter; sisters, Joy Perry and Cathy Emma; brother, Michael Carter and beloved husband, Richard W. Zelius.
She is survived by her mom, Gloria Carter; sisters, Juliana Sozansky, Delores Wernet and Mitzi Baisden; her children, Leigh Shearman Weaver, David Shearman, Charlie Shearman and their spouses, Michael Weaver, Terese Overlade and Carolyn Shearman; grandchildren, Cameron Shearman, Sarah Shearman and Kayla Shearman.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00am Friday, October 17, 2014 at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Special lady....many fond memories...always enjoyed her stories of Pensacola, pretty clothes and jewelry...I loved her pretty collections, especially her crosses...kindly would share all that she had to anyone in need...every time someone would visit, she would give you a special gift....one special gift that she would read with me was the devotional book called Jesus Calling....our heartfelt condolences to the entire family...Linda McGuire and Family

Leigh, David, and Charlie my heart is breaking for you! I loved aunt Clare so much!! She was like a mom to me and took care of me for so many years! If there is anything I can do please don't hesitate to ask!!! Love you all, Christian

My dear dear friend Clare, I shall miss you deeply but my heart is filled with joy knowing you are now with your beloved Dick. What a reunion that must be! My love to each of her children; Charlie, David and Leigh, Her sister Julie, and her Mom Gloria, which I have come to know and love, over the past couple of years.
