1955 - 2017
Peggy Michelle Threatt, 62 of Pensacola passed away on October 26, 2017. She was born on June 27, 1955 in Pensacola to Mrs. Barbara P. Threatt and the late Johnnie L. Threatt. A lifelong member of Jehovah Lutheran Church, she loved the Lord and professed her faith in our Lord & Savior at an early age. Peggy graduated from J. M. Tate HS and later earned a Paralegal degree at the University of West Florida. She was currently employed with Navy Federal Credit Union.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Mrs. Barbara P. Threatt, three sisters, Melanie Threatt, Dr. G. Iris Threatt-Milton (Dr. Fredrick Milton) and Emma Threatt; three brothers James Threatt (Deborah), Michael Threatt and Wendell Threatt; two nephews Brandon Threatt and Brice Threatt; an Aunt Martha Abney, three special cousins Chiquita S. Payne, Clyde R. Abney, Jr., Trevor M. Abney and a host of loving cousins, family and friends.
The viewing will be held at Trahan Family Funeral Home, 419 Yoakum Ct on October 29, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on October 30, 2017 at Jehovah Lutheran Church, 2801 N. 9th Ave. Interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery.

I was Peggy's first supervisor and her current supervisor at NFCU. I just adored Ms. Peggy. Her and I had little names for one another, she called me "Shorty" and I called her, "Purple Princess Peggy". I loved that no matter what she had going on in her life, she always kept a very positive attitude. I am so glad I was able to speak to her shortly before her passing because I got to hear the sunshine in her voice that I will never forget. She was one special lady!
