Bill was my on stage husband in the WHS faculty play. He was a gracious, funny coworker and friend. The world is a little less intellectual without this fine man. My thoughts and prayers to his family.

Mr. Willis was one of the best teachers I've ever had. He was very challenging, but the challenges he presented in his classroom helped foster in me a life-long interest in history--and I greatly appreciate him for this. He will truly be missed.

Anyone who knew Bill, could tell you just how intelligent was and how credibly funny he could be . His humor could be outrageous at times . They also knew he had the tremendous passion for teaching but he was more than just a teacher . He really cared about his students and he loved people . He was always an advocate for the underdog . Bill was my best friend , he was the one I knew I could call on to pray for me and with me . He was a great prayer warrior . Bill gave the greatest hugs. I am going to miss those so much!. Over the years , Bill became a part of our family . We all loved him dearly and there is a huge hole in our hearts and our family today and forever. Our hearts go out to Bill's son , William and to his sweet mother, as well as his sister Anne and her family. He is forever in our hearts till we see him again in our Heavenly home.

Bill had a sharp wit, unceasing intelligence, and a warmth that let you know here was a good friend. He was a fantastic teacher to my two children who graduated Woodham High, and I am glad that I got to know him in the years I worked at Woodham High in the Media Center.
