Willard Copeland Obituary
Born in Perquimans County on January 9, 1930, he was a son of the late Freeland M. and Ibbie Perry Copeland. He was the owner of Mackbourne Farms Ltd.
In addition to his parents, Willard was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Harrell Copeland, a grandson, Elliott L. Copeland, a brother, M. Parker Copeland, and by two sisters, Mildred C. Jenkins and Elizabeth E. Winslow.
Surviving is his son, Anthony M. Copeland, and a grandson, Simon L. Copeland, both of Raleigh.
A private Christian burial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Thomas Skinner Scholarship at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 125, Hertford, NC 27944.
