Paul Applegate Obituary

Paul Wayne Applegate, 58, passed away Monday, March 4, 2013, at Owensboro Medical Health Systems in Owensboro, Ky.
He was born in Tell City July 4, 1954, to the late Wil-bur and Emma Lee (Beard) Applegate.
He worked at Best Chairs and was a cook for several restaurants. He enjoyed camping, fishing, cooking on a campfire, reading the Bible and listening to gospel music. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving are his children, Greg Howell and his wife, Karen of Tell City and Angela Jennings and her husband, Hal of Cannelton; his brothers, Daniel and James Applegate, both of Cannelton; his sisters, Polly James and Eva Vogt, both of Cannelton and Mary James of Tell City; grandchildren Kenneth Perry, Trent Jones, Cody, Brandon and Evan Howell and three great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Linda Applegate and four brothers, Dennis in infancy, Charles, Henry and Wilbur Applegate.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 7, (today) at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.
Pastor Gene Marcrum will officiate. Burial will follow in Simon Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
