Francis "Butch" E. Struble of Gaston, Indiana passed away at his residence at the age of 65 on Monday, Dec. 13, 2021. He was born in Peru, Indiana on Sep. 11, 1956 to Edward and Marie (Personett) Struble.
Butch earned his Associate's Degree in Aeronautics and began his 35-year career at Muncie Aviation as an Aircraft Inspector/Mechanic. He enjoyed building and flying model airplanes and was a member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics. He was also a member of the Michigan Snowmobile Association with a strong passion for snowmobiling in the Michigan Upper Peninsula. He was a very talented guitar player and enjoyed painting and spending time with his family.
Butch is survived by his mother, Marie (Struble) Nickels of Peru, Indiana; son, Michael Struble (Danyel) of Eaton, Indiana; daughter, Jennifer Mynett (Nathan) of Eaton, Indiana; former spouse and mother of his children, Sabrina Struble of Muncie, Indiana; sister, Audrey Verde (Ernie) Cave Creek, Arizona; and four grandchildren, Cole and Chloe Mynett and Taylor and Tristan Struble.
Butch was preceded in death by his father, Edward Struble.
Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022 at 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Muncie Aviation. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Garden View Funeral Home and Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to The MISORVA, 4543 Division Avenue S, Grand Rapids, Michigan 49548 or another charitable organization of the donor's choice.
