Jason Michael Johnston, 47, of Peru passed away tragically in Walton on Thursday, Dec. 23, 2021 doing what he loved to do as a logger and lumberjack.
Born on Nov. 20, 1974 in Peru, he was the son of Michael and Doris (Morgan) Johnston.
He was a 1993 Maconaquah High School graduate.
Jason enjoyed puzzles, fishing, and tinkering in his garage.
Survivors include his son, Tyler Johnston of Kokomo, daughter, Janét Johnston of Peru, parents, Michael and Doris Johnston of Peru, brother, George Johnston (Dawn) of Florida, grandmother, Anna Marie Johnston of Peru and 3 nieces.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Virginia and J.P. Morgan and George Johnston.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 30, 2021 at Riverview Funeral Home, 421 W. Canal St., Peru. A Memorial Service will follow at 7:00 p.m.
