Pauline Marie Tucker, 92, of Peru passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022.
Pauline was born April 21, 1929 in Peru, Indiana to Walter Levon Rader and Helen May (Mooney) Rader.
She was first married to Donald (Red) Lee Phillipy and later married Robert Eugene Tucker Sr. on June 20, 1951. They were married 47 years before his death on August 19, 1998.
Pauline was a homemaker, volunteer, at the Peru Salvation Army and babysat many children in her home over the years.
She was a member of the Independent Christian Fellowship in Peru and a Gold Star Mother of the Salvation Army.
She is survived by 3 sons; Terry (Nancy) Phillipy, Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Robert (Sue) Tucker Jr., and David (Jean) Tucker both of Peru, 5 daughters; Susan (Michael) Holland, Paula Hayden, and Lori (Harold) Bouthot all of Peru, Karen York, Denver, Indiana and Deborah (Gordon) Knight of Beach Grove, Indiana, 1 brother; Bill Rader of Inverness, Florida, Grandchildren; Brock, John Thomas, Amy, Jeremy, John Robert, Ed, Jenny, Aaron, Bethany, Kristen, Alex, Hayden, and Davie, numerous step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, step-great-great grandchildren, 2 sister-in-laws; Ethel Rader, Peru, Indiana and Beverly Bowman ,Mexico, Indiana, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant daughter, Nancy Joann Tucker, an unnamed infant son, grandson, William York, great grandson, Jakob Oaf, 2 son-in-laws, Paul Hayden and Chuck York, Brothers Robert, Jack, Jimmie, and Ronald Rader, Sisters, Betty Graves, Norma Adams, and Sandra Baber.
Graveside services will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery on Monday, March 14, 2022 at 11am with Pastor Carol Zumwalt officiating.
