Born in Petaluma on August 5, 1925, Marie Stefenoni passed away peacefully on March 25, 2023, with loving care at Petaluma Valley Hospital at the age of 97.
Marie is survived by her children Wayne Stefenoni (Sandy-deceased), Gene Stefenoni, grandchildren Stacy Calkin (Ryan), Andy Stefenoni (Angela), Jenny Schwebach (Troy) and Heather Stefenoni, great-grandchildren Tanner and Jesse Calkin, McKenzie and Desirea Schwebach. Brother George Spaletta and sister Illene Rodgers. "Aunt Dutch" to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Louis and Virginia Spaletta. Brothers Bill, Louie, Emsley and Ralph. Sisters Josephine and Nadine.
Marie was a wonderful person with a lot of spunk who loved going to the Casino, playing Bingo, Pedro, Bunco or any other card game that she could find someone to play with. She had a wonderful circle of family and friends and will be dearly missed by all.
At Marie's request there will be no funeral or memorial service but we will be having a visitation on Tuesday April 4th, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Parent Sorensen Mortuary Petaluma.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice or go play a game of Bingo in honor of Marie.

We are saddened to hear the news. We will miss seeing Marie at bingo. I really enjoyed and will truly miss visiting with her at their table. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Roger and Arte.

Dear Wayne, Gene, Andy, Stacy and family, I will miss Marie tremendously. She was a bright spot in my life, and a shining example of love in the lives of Lauren and Brandon. I thank God on the regular that Marie was present for "her" kids during their early years and has remained a good friend ever since. I will always appreciate Marie´s huge heart, sense of humor, and sense of fun. She was just a wonderful human being, and I feel lucky to have known her for many years. She was an important part of so many peoples´ lives, as I learned from the large circle of friends and family around her. I will always remember her kindness, generosity of spirit, and genuine warmth. My best to you all in your time of grief.
