ROBIN HEFFNER Obituary
Robin was born on May 29, 1956, in Pensacola, Fla., to William George "Bill" Heffner and Maggie Mae Corum Heffner. Robin was a graduate of Louisiana High School with the Class of 1974.
Robin had three sons, the late Dustin Allen Hawkins (Loretta), Danel Ray Hawkins (Heather), and Duane Albert Hawkins (Alicia).
She is survived by her sister Diane Singleton (Ronny) of Curryville, Mo., sons Danel Hawkins (Heather) of Curryville, Mo., and Duane Hawkins (Alicia) of Barry, Ill., grandchildren Nova Velasco, Alicia Hawkins, and Layne Hawkins of Sullivan, Mo., Joseph Jennings, Jayden Jennings, Natalie Charlton, Colton Haynes, Jeremiah Hawkins, Delilah Hawkins, Kinzlee Hawkins, Bryanna Hawkins, and Madyson Hawkins of Curryville, Mo., Annie Utterback, Allison Hawkins, and Remington Hawkins of Bowling Green, Mo., and Kaycen Hawkins of Barry, Ill., a niece Missy Pitzer of Bowling Green, Mo., and nephews Travis Dixon of Curryville, Mo., and Amos Pitzer of Bowling Green, Mo.
Her parents, Bill Heffner in 2022 and Maggie Heffner in 2019, a brother, William George Heffner II, and a son, Dustin Allen Hawkins in 2024, died earlier.
After graduating high school, Robin worked at Bridal Originals for many years until her children were born, at which time she became a stayat- home mother during their younger years. She later worked for NECAC as a field supervisor overseeing the in-home health care services until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family, was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, and listening to Jason Aldean.
Honorary pallbearers will be Travis Dixon, Jason Luck, Remington Hawkins, and Colton Haynes. Active pallbearers will be Joseph Jennings, Amos Pitzer, Layne Hawkins, Ryan Chatman, Gemeil Chatman, and Blake Bornhop.
Memorials may be made to the John Cotton Memorial Animal Shelter in Louisiana, Mo., or Cardinals Care, 700 Clark Street, St. Louis, MO 63102.
