Benjamin Andersen Obituary

Benjamin S. Andersen, 41, of Chesapeake, VA, unexpectedly passed away December 25, 2018.
Born in Norfolk, VA, he was a loving husband and father and Website Designer. Owning his business, Barking Dog Graphics, allowed Ben to work from home enabling him to spend much quality time with his 4 year old son, Eli and 17 year old daughter, Evelyn, whom he loved and cared for dearly. Evelyn considered her father her best friend.
Ben had a lifelong devotion to music and was a multi-talented musician. He enjoyed playing the drums and bass guitar but his passion was playing the electric guitar. Over the years he was in several bands including Necrotomy, Dixie Harlot and most recently Dirge for the Slain. He considered his bandmates his brothers.
Left to cherish his memory: his wife, Abby C. Andersen; parents, Olaf and Shirley Andersen; daughter, Evelyn M. Andersen; son, Eli H. Andersen, all of Chesapeake; and a brother, Alan S. Andersen and his wife, Deborah, of Elizabeth City, NC; and his best friend, Gilbert Moon of Smyrna, South Carolina.
Arrangements are private. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
