I am remembering my dear friend Bert this month as he passed right after my birthday. I still miss our conversations at the end of the work day. I could hear him motoring around with his chair. He was such a good person and he loved the Lord. We could talk on end about anything and everything. He is dearly missed but I know he is having a grand time in our Fathers House. Hope to see you soon Bert!

Bert and I worked together for only nine years at JFSC, but it was as though I had known him all my life. Bert was our friend, our "go-to guy" and an especially kind and caring person. My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.

I had the pleasure of knowing Bert for 28yrs while we worked together at the Staff College. We would see each other everyday and talk about the good times here at the College. I will miss him, his smile and our daily talks. To the family my you find comfort in lord. Rest in Peace my friend!

I had the pleasure of knowing Bert at JFSC for over 20 years. He was always a can-do person - willing to help and to find a way to make things happen. He helped establish and keep the me connected on over 100 video-teleconferences, VTCs, over the years and was the go-to-guy for most audio visual challenges in classrooms and auditoriums. He helped with audio-visual presentations at numerous ceremonies that helped bring flair to our events - many of them retirement, guest speaker and graduation ceremonies that were key events for all involved. I am sure he will be missed by friends and family alike. May he rest in peace.

My heart has been broken into thousands of shattered pieces and dear Bert you are not here to help lift me up again. Your kind, gentle spirit always so loving as we talked about the waters that just would not part and let us walk through the storms to the peace that awaited in our home in eternity. Thank you Jesus for taking Bert by the hand and walking him into eternity with you while he was surrounded by his loving family. Dearest brother in Christ I know your beautiful voice is praising our savior all the day long. We miss you here at the College where we have spent decades working together to do God's will and make this world a better place for all of us. Go rest high upon that mountain for your work on earth is done.

I was so sorry to hear about Bert. Despite the fact of only knowing Bert for 3 years while working with him at JFSC, he always had a smile on his face and was always willing to drop what he was doing to help me out. He surely had a family at the College, My condolences to his wife, and family.

The passing of Bert brings great sadness to my heart as well as the hearts of many others. Bert was a true professional and he was always willing to provide service to anyone in need. I have worked with Bert for many years at JFSC and I know he will be missed but never replaced. His family will be in my prayers.

It was sad to receive the news about Bert. Bert and I had worked closely together in reserving rooms for VTCs and such. He was a blessing and enjoyment to talk to. Even after I retired, he was willing to help me schedule a VTC for my daughter's promotion, if needed. I know his spirit is with God. To the family, I am praying you'll know the comfort of the Lord's loving presence to strengthen you. Psalm 117:2

I have known Bert for 27 years as a co-worker and friend. He was the kindest, sweetest man who was always there to just listen and encourage. I know he is happy and healthy in our Fathers House. I look for his car everyday. My condolences to his wife Velma and family.

I was so sorry to hear about Bert. I worked with him at JFSC for many many years. He always had a smile on his face and was always there with a helping hand. I always knew if Bert was part of the solution, I never had to worry about anything. He will surely be missed at the College, but mostly by his family. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
