Brett Malott Obituary
Chesapeake - Brett D. Malott, passed away peacefully March 12, 2015, after a long battle with cancer.
He was the husband of Mary Margaret (Napier) Malott.
Born in Hamilton, OH, July 9, 1954, he was the son of Donald E. Malott and Dorothy (Edwards) Malott. He graduated Huntington East High School in Huntington, WV in 1973.
He served in the U.S. Navy as a cryptographic machine operator and also the U.S. Naval Reserve.
He was an entrepreneur of several small businesses, including Beacon Electrical Technologies in Chesapeake, VA. He has a successful career in electrical contracting and spent the last years of his life working at It's Electric, Inc. in Chesapeake, VA
He will be greatly missed by a multitude of friends and family.
His spirit will be carried on by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and siblings.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2015, at the Great Bridge Chapel of Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 524 Cedar Rd., Chesapeake, VA 23322. A visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 15, 2015, at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered at www.hollomon-brown.com
