Virginia Beach - Mrs. Cecelia E. Malloy, 89, quietly entered into eternal rest to be with her Lord and Savior on November 12, 2016. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph E. Malloy, Sr. Survivors include 5 siblings, Anne Taylor, Virginia Lewis, Kester Bailey, William Lassiter (Louise), Renee Sumner (Henry); children: Lillie Brown (Cleveland), Joseph Malloy, Jr (Kathryn), William Malloy, Paulette Mayfield, Janette White (George), Mark Malloy (Stacey) and Althea Allen (Jay); 32 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, family and friends. On November 16, a public viewing will be held at Graves Funeral Home, Norfolk from 1-8pm with family receiving guests from 5-8pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 17 at 12pm at First Church of Christ Holiness, USA, 862 E Princess Anne Road, Norfolk. The Harrison-Harvey family (Vanessa, Sean, David Jr, and Dennis) are saddened by your loss; however, we celebrate the life of Mother Elaine, and know that she is watching down from Heaven. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. We pray that the love of God enfolds you during your difficult times and that He helps you heal with the passage of time. God took Mother Elaine in His loving arms and saw it was time for her to rest in His beautiful and heavenly garden. Heaven has received a new member. The thought of knowing that our loved ones are in the presence of the Savior can be of some comfort, especially when we have the confidence that our Savior resides in us, for the word says; Whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.'
