Curtis Norman Obituary
Henrico - Curtis Tyrone Norman, 69, of Henrico, VA, formerly of Franklin, VA, Tidewater area and Conway, NC, died December 7, 2012.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Carolyn T. Harrison Norman. Surviving are his wife, Loretta DePriest Norman; 4 daughters, Carmella T. and Carmen T. Norman, Tatiana Cousins and Marilyn Mitchell; son, Corbitt T. Norman of Akron, OH; 7 grandchildren; 4 siblings, Doretha N. Bagby (Walter), Dorothy W. Kenion, William S. (Elizabeth) and Kenneth B. (Antionale) Norman. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Richmond, VA.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 14 at 2 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2737 Hungary Spring Road, Richmond, VA. Minister Victor Meeley, officiating. Interment private. Online guest book at www.scottsfunealhome.com

My prayers are with your family. May Jehovah give you the strength needed during this time. I will surely miss seeing Bro. Norman at the conventions. He has been around my family for a very long time. He held me when I was a baby and continued to be close to the Combs family. He was there for me when my mother, Mary and my father, Frank passed away a few years ago. He was a wonderful, kind and spiritual man. I am truly going to miss him but looking forward to welcoming him back in Paradise.

Life has a mysterious of teaching us the importance of family. I did not have the pleasure of knowing Curtis, but if he is anything like his daughter Carmen, I would know him to be a kind and strong-willed man who cares deeply for others and willing to give all that he has to those who need help. My prayers and thoughts go out to all the family members. Never forget all the great and happy times that were shared.
