Dear Cheryl,
I just learned about your parents' passing. Cheryl, your dad saved my life! He took you and me to the beach when we were like 9 years old-behind Seashore (?) Amusement Park. I got caught in an undertow and he swam out and pushed me back to shore!
Your mom was soooo fun.
I will pray a Hail Mary for them both (I'm now Catholic!).
Love to you old friend,

I grew up with Carol and spent a lot of time at her house. Mr. And Mrs. Strano were always so nice. Mr. Strano always had a smile you had to smile back. They were really good people.

I will miss his smile, sincerity and thoughtfulness. Also that he was a wonderful husband to my friend Marge.
