Donald Beck Obituary
Hagerstown, MD - Donald Wayne Beck, 62, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Star Community, in Hagerstown, Md.
Born February 27, 1951, in Butler, Penn., he was the son of the late William Walter and Virginia Ruth (Ramsay) Beck.
He is survived by two brothers, Gregg W. Beck and wife Sarah of Richmond, Va., Gary J. Beck and wife Jeanne of Virginia Beach, Va.; a sister, Linda S. Beck and her partner Shelly Clore of Richmond, Va.; two nieces, Emily Beck and Jessica Beck; and a nephew, Evan Beck.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, David L. Beck.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the love and devotion shown by all of Donnie's caregivers at Star Community for over two decades. Donnie's life was made full everyday by the love, commitment and advocacy of Eric Eversole, Nora Green, Joyce Kindle, Daniel Thorpe, and so many caregivers at Star Community who have answered the call to serve others faithfully.
A celebration of Donnie's life will be held at Star Community on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 3:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Star Community, Inc., 13757 Broadfording Church Rd., Hagerstown, MD 21740.
Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, Hagerstown, is handling the arrangements.

Dear Gary, Jeanne and Evan, Mama called and informed us of the passing of your brother Donald. We were so sorry to hear, but know he is at peace with his mother, father and brother. Please send our sympathy to the rest of the Beck family.
