Donte Hines Obituary
Virginia Beach - Donte " Duke" Hines, 20, of the 3600 of Chimney Creek Drive was born May 3, 1993 in Virginia Beach, VA.
Donte attended Virginia Beach Public Schools, he worked at Millenium Quality Styles. He loved music, football, basketball and most of all, his family.
He leaves to cherish his fondest memories: his mother Aisha Barnes (Reginald), father Ronzel Johnson; five brothers: Tramonte Hines, Quante Hines, Reginald Barnes, Jr., Jordan Hayes, and Taron Johnson; two sisters: Alaija Hines and Tiffany Johnson; Nephew: Kyree Crumble; grandmothers: Annette Dozier and Carolyn Johnson; grandfathers: Larry Johnson and Samuel Smith; great grandparents: Bennie Ward (Barbara), Mable Jones and Albe Barham, Sr.; aunts Tamekia Hines, Amariah Spellman, and Monica Johnson; Uncles: Shannon Hines, Christopher Spellman, Ryan Johnson, Larron Jones, Keith Hillard, Ricardo Barnes and Rashad Lilly; his devoted Godfather Michael Ward, Sr.; his beloved dog Rooga; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
A homegoing service will be held, Saturday, August 3, 2013, 12 Noon in the Mount Bethel Baptist Church, 4636 Indian River Rd., Virginia Beach, VA with Pastor Tyrone Johnson, Officiating and Rev. E. Andre Brown, Eulogist. A period of viewing and visitation will be held at the church, Friday, Aug. 2, from 6-8 p.m. Services of Comfort are being provided by the Sterling Brook Funeral Home (757) 242-3600.
