Edna Seaberry Obituary

Edna Mayo Seaberry CAMDEN - Edna Mayo Seaberry, 91, of the 300 block of North River Road, died Nov. 15, 2009. She passed away peacefully at her home in Camden. She was a member of Berea Baptist Church for many years while residing in New York. After leaving New York, she became a member of First Baptist Church West Munden in Chesapeake. She then moved to Camden, N.C., and fellowshipped with The Family Worship Center, Weeksville, N.C. She retired from Met Life Insurance Company after working for many years. She was predeceased by her father and mother, Andrew and Gracie Spellman; and husband, James Seaberry. She is survived by four sisters, Colena Barfield of New York, Odessa Williams and Naomi Spellman, both of Camden, and Esther Collins of Chesapeake; four brothers, Leon Spellman of Delaware, Isiah Spellman of Brooklyn, Aldie J. Spellman of Chesapeake and Henry L. Spellman of Waterbury, Conn. A funeral will be held Saturday, Nov. 21, at noon in Guiding Light Apostolic Church of Christ, Camden. with Bishop Aldie Spellman and Elder Tony Newsome as eulogist. Viewing will be Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will receive friends at the home of the deceased. Burial will be in Spellman Family Cemetery, Camden. Stallings Funeral Home, Elizabeth City, is in charge.
