My deepest sympathies are extended to the Kavanaugh family. As a neighbor, Ed would often stop and chat with me when he saw me in the yard, be it when he was walking or driving by in his car. He was a very kind hearted individual who always shared a sweet compliment of some kind to me. I will miss seeing him. ~Cheryl Fortner

My thoughts and prayers go to Eddie's family. As I read his obit in the Pilot,I was fondly reminded of our school days at Holy Trinity and how much Eddie was liked and admired. He truly was a "Good Guy"
