Edward Upton Obituary
Chesapeake - Edward "Eddie" Upton, Sr., 71, of Chesapeake passed away on Monday, March 21, 2016.
Survivors include his daughter, Crystal Loftus (Brenden); son, Edward Upton, Jr.; significant other, Becky Coffield; three sisters; a grandchild, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Eddie had numerous accomplishments. He was a successful business owner for over 40 years. He will be missed by many.
A celebration of Eddie's life will be held at a later date. Friends are invited to share memories and sign the online guestbook at www.omanfh.com.

Was so shocked to hear this news. So many memories that I have and will always cherish. Eddie embraced life and always made the most of it.

I have known Eddie since we were kids. We grew up in the same neighborhood where we played football, basketball, baseball and rode bicycles daily. He and his brother and sisters were like our family. They had parents that raised them to be loyal and kind to others. Ever time Eddie and I met we remenissed about our fun time growing up in Oak Grove area of Chesapeake. I will miss him as a friend and also as someone I knew could be counted on if ever I needed him. He was a good man and all who who knew him are better off because they did. Your Bud forever. I have not talked to Eddie in a while now because I live in Michigan, I will never forget him and the many things we did together in Shop 38 in the Shipyard. May he live on threw our memories. Russ Geister

I have known Eddie for over 30 yeas. Anytime he came into our insurance agency he was always complimentary and kind. If there was ever anything he could do for you he was there. There were several times he would bring in cake, donuts or some other kind of treat for the office just because. It is with a heavy heart that I send my heart felt condolences to the family.
