I enjoyed the time I spent with Betsy at DAR and at Prime Plus Senior Center. She was a real pistol and a lot of fun!

Betsy was a wonderful woman and will be greatly missed. She was one of my late sister’s dearest friends, and I am honored to have known her.

Betsy was an angel on earth. I had the good fortune to live next door to her, Gerry, and Glynn for many years. She was a person of character, integrity, and generosity. She always did the right thing-setting a high standard for others to emulate. We both shared a love of sewing and stray animals. Thinking of her passing brings a tear to my eye but, a smile to my face. I will miss this lovely Southern Gentlewoman.

I will never forget Betsy - she welcomed me into the Great Bridge Chapter of DAR with loving and welcoming arms. She knew my Mother in Law, Barbara Grice, told great stories and was such a vibrant lady! I cannot believe she has passed and I did not get to see her because of covid. This world losses another giant from the Greatest Generation! My heart is sad - rest in peace Betsy and may light eternal shine on you!
